Eastern Shore Hospital requires masks for patients and visitors

Effective immediately, all patients and visitors to Tidal Health Peninsula Regional in Salisbury Maryland, will require all patients and visitors to wear masks.

The change comes as a result of a rapid increase in Influenza A (Flu A) and other respiratory illnesses across Delmarva. According to hospital officials, masking will also be required at Tidal Health Nanticoke and Atlantic General Hospital.

Here are the requirements:

All patients and visitors must wear surgical masks during patient visits.

Masks will be available at check-in

Cloth mask are not acceptable

Visitors who decline to wear a mask will not be permitted to visit
